Writer of sin within soul
I embrace the fracture
That can never be whole
I spill my blood on every page
It boils with the battles of love and hate
Serenity and rage
It flows from wounds
That may never heal
Pain I will show the world
But only I will feel
This is everything I am
And everything I will be
I rip my chest open for everyone to see
Watch me twist this dagger in my heart
Blood drips from the blade to paper
That's only where I start
Can you taste the blood
And see what is real
Can you gaze into infinity
And realize that you have time to kill
Can you bare to grasp death in your hands
You know that life is just a footprint
In infinity's sands
Can you still bear the burden and
Long for war
Thinking of peace and nothing before

You say you know yourself
But to the sound of your own screams you are deft
